§ 5-43. Permit.

(a)

No person shall use a loudspeaker system or amplifier on any pier or wharf referred to in section 5-40, unless he has a permit so to do issued in accord with this section.

(b)

Application for a permit required by this section shall be made to the town manager, who shall issue such permit, subject to the provisions of this section.

(c)

A permit shall be issued under this section only to the captain of a boat docking at a pier or wharf. The captain who secures such permit may designate one other person to operate the loudspeaker system or amplifier on his behalf, such person's name to be placed on the captain's permit.
